3. Quotations & Orders
- Quotations are valid for the period stated or 30 days if not otherwise specified.
- An order becomes binding when confirmed in writing by Libya Generators Ltd.
- Technical data, performance values, and images are indicative unless explicitly guaranteed.
- Customers must provide site and technical information required for supply and installation.
4. Prices, Payment & Taxes
- Prices exclude transport, customs, VAT, and installation unless stated otherwise.
- Payment terms appear on the quotation or invoice; full payment may be required prior to delivery.
- Late payments may result in delays, suspension of services, and interest charges.
- Customers are responsible for all applicable taxes and import duties.
5. Delivery, Title & Risk
- Delivery terms follow the agreed Incoterms (e.g., EXW, FOB, CIF).
- Risk transfers upon delivery to the customer or carrier.
- Title remains with Libya Generators Ltd until full payment is received.
- Customers must inspect Goods upon delivery and report issues within 7 business days.
6. Spare Parts
- Spare Parts are supplied subject to availability and current pricing.
- Orders may be non-cancelable once procurement begins.
- Use of non-approved parts or modifications may void warranties.
7. After-Sales Service & Maintenance
- Service appointments may require advance scheduling and cancellation fees may apply.
- Customers must provide safe site access and required utilities for maintenance work.
8. Warranty
Warranty duration varies depending on the product, brand, and usage conditions. Some products may be warranted based on operating hours or project conditions.
Warranty does not cover:
- Consumables (filters, belts, oils, hoses, batteries, seals, lubricants)
- Misuse, overload, improper installation, lack of maintenance
- Use of non-approved spare parts or unauthorized repairs
- Damage due to corrosion, rust, environment, or external factors
9. Force Majeure
Libya Generators Ltd is not liable for delays caused by events outside reasonable control, including conflict, natural disasters, supply chain interruption, or government restrictions.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Libya. Disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of Tripoli unless otherwise agreed in writing.
